Audio-Gd Master 9

Thanks for posting your early impressions. I enjoy my M9 immensely. I have an excellent custom tube headamp, otherwise the M9 would be getting a lot more use.

Powerful, neutral, transparent. Maybe a touch of warmth in there, but not much.

I have burned through a bunch of amps before settling on the M9 - Auralic Taurus / 430HA / V281. M9 is my 'keeper' amp.

 

Good few years on ... Long-term impressions? Reliability? If replaced, with what? There is a reasonably priced NOS11 that came up for sale locally so not asking for a friend.

 

In my case, I still have my M9 and still enjoy it. Had a GS-X Mk2 for about a year. Great speed and detail, but the treble was too much for me. If I ever get another SS amp it would be something high end that has a splash of musicality in it - something like the Luxman P-750 if my budget permits.
