    Same mate!
    I met my wife on the bus 15 years ago. She is young and pretty and I thought I was delusional, but she had told me what bakery she was a chef at so I dropped her in a copy of one of my favourite books - 'Perfume' by Patrick Suskind. Gritty, scary but good. I also attached a note asking her to dinner and stating that if she did not agree I would probably get a taxi to the local cliff and jump off - but it wouldn't be her fault. Thank God she doesn't have an 'irony deficiency' and we have been happy ever after ever since! :)
