Then why did my phase splitter die when a headphone cable shorted out?

Isn’t the phase splitter for SE inputs? Balanced in it is fully differential.

Mr. Ed learning to speak was a great achievement but I guess he never learned to bargain or spell very well.

That X-Over though, wow... Are the woofers in the center (under tv) custom? Looks like 18"s in custom cabs? I bet that system sounds beautiful, but damn that price. How can't we recreate that sound in 2021 for a human price?

Somewhat similar philosophy of horns and mega cabinets/woofers might get you some of the way there, maybe. http://www.troelsgravesen.dk/The-Loudspeaker-2.htm How much cheaper depends on how much you do yourself vs. paying someone else.

Woofers in the center = the JBL sub-woofers made to go with the Everests. Supposedly down to 24Hz.

Looks like decent stuff. However with gathering interest and factoring in costs I doubt there will be a deal made and likely will go for market prices. Although I could be wrong.

Do not know if the price is right, was dropped from CAD $3000 to CAD $2100 but this is rare and interesting

Currawong did a short review and it was very positive, I read one more review very positive as well, it reminds me of the old Talisman T-3H or T-35H on steroids with balanced in and out. And I still love how they sound. I wonder if anyone here has knowledge about this amp

It was the first Cavalli commercial product, is a high voltage evolution of the EHHA. EHHA ran on 30V rails (pos and neg 30V) while Liquid Fire runs on pos/neg 100V rails. This allows the 6922 to run optimally. It is a DC coupled amp, I think it has a great sound, more SS than tube hybrid which comes from the embedded nature of the design.

Today, the seller of the second item dropped the price from $3,000 to $2,500 and posted some pictures. Not my cup of tea, but figured someone may be interested.

Edit: Seller lowered again to $2,000 at some point.

For everything that's purported to be handmade... you'd think he could have at least lined the RCA's up? Yeesh. Still, that's some expensive silver in there.
