This is some of the most unbelievably expensive-sounding music out there. You can just hear that they have hundreds of thousands of dollars of top shelf synths and delays. Absolutely superlative production. Bass quality is incredible as well. (Obvs can't hear it on the YT)

There is a 4:14 length version of this track on a Late Night Tales: Hot Chip mix on Tidal, a 6:26 on Qobuz (all found through Roon)...got to love the streaming world

I'm enjoying the track and some others, the bass sounds like it's going to bottom out my Utopia's :headbang:

Literally every single thing Moritz von Oswald and Mark Ernestus did together in the 1990s and 2000s is perfection and just doesn't age. It's a tough call, but I think Rhythm & Sound may be my favourite of their aliases/projects. Maurizio is a close second though. Hard to pick a specific track, but can't go wrong with this:

How they get so much from so little is incredible. Gotta let yourself really get lost in it, but the subtle mutations and shifts in the layers just pull you in for the whole 13 minutes.

The first track is pulling me in and my little 4 inch Daytons are thumping away on the desk.

I would probably categorize this as space music,

Picked up the 4CD Rupt and Flex boxset from Seefeel earlier in the year (which is awesome BTW) and Warp have now got KMRU to produce a 1 hour mix of the material which is predictably great.

Physical release seem to only be on cassette (boooo!), but lossless copies available from Bandcamp, Bleep, etc. and it seems Warp have been kind enough to upload the whole thing to YT too:

Whilst not a piece of music and because I couldn't find the ambient thread (someone needs to recreate that if it's gone missing) I'm posting this here as it might be interesting to some.

The new Burial release "Antidawn" strikes me as Ambient influenced, odd for Burial...or maybe not.

Soichi Terada's new release "Asakusa Light" is not the sort of thing I normally go for, a bit too much 'electro', 'disco', and perhaps even 'easy listening'. However something about it. The sonics are so clean and textured, and the melodies are interesting even when they are simplistic.

    Qobuz and Tidal, and bandcamp

That nee Burial album is definitely largely ambient. While unexpected I have enjoyed it.
