Any reason to get the Fulla 3 over the 2 for music only?

Also, on the off chance anyone has heard the pairing, how does the Fulla 2/3 sound with HD58x? Trying to get a starter set up for a friend.

 

I've had my hel for a little over a month. It's been fantastic. My only complaint is that, like the Fulla 2, it has developed a scratchy volume pot a few weeks after getting it.

Not really a big issue, doesn't affect sound at all once the volume is set. Probably unavoidable. Anyone experience this as well?

 

Now that some of you are past first impression, are folks still enjoying the Hel?

I sold my work stack (Jotunheim/Bifrost) in favor of moving my Liquid Platinum to work. Looking for a DAC/Amp combo to hold me over until I can pair the new Balanced Cavalli LP DAC with the LP for a nice clean stack.

While normally I probably would not have been considering the Hel, I am really interested in the microphone input. Has anyone tried to use the mic input/ADC to rip Vinyl or do other recordings? That would certainly make the Hel especially tempting as I would still have a use for it down the road.

 

Anyone try out Hel 2?
