    Some of this is fluffy purple prose, but this is the key line I pulled from it: “There are studies that prove that soft vibrations make the liquids perform a better aging than in silence or with strident music”

    This could all be bullhooey though, and I'm sure there are studies that show vibrations have an adverse effect. *shrug*

    I seem to remember a member around here that had their home theater above their garage and installed subs in the floor, effectively using the garage as the enclosure. I'll edit the post when I find it.

    With a in the wall or in the floor mount you are beating Mr. Allison, no cancelling interference because the negative which is reflected by the wall behind the woofer is reflected leading to dips in the frequency response at distance of driver to back wall equals 1/4 of wavelength concerned. Big advantage that is. As mentioned earlier with those woofers the crossover should be so low that you cannot localise them anyway.
