edit: these are back up for sale now that my health is a bit better. With lower prices!

    Pictures of everything here

I would love to trade for (+/- cash):
    • TTVJ 307a
    • Felix Envy

    FOR SALE:

-> Line Magnetic Mini LM-MINI-84IA el84 push pull headphone and speaker amp.

    $525
    $450 shipped + PayPal fees

Shipping is $40 to the ConUS fully insured UPS with signature confirmation. If it winds up being less than that I will refund you the extra, and if it is more I will pay for it. It will likely be less.

Like new. No scratches or blemishes of any kind. Beautiful marbled silver metal chassis. Works perfectly. Selling because I am trying different amplifiers for specific headphones and this doesn't have great synergy with the planar magnetic iems I bough it to try with.

Comes with stock power cable and manual and (I think) original box, or a box that fits it really well and is well padded and packed. Comes with a set of tubes that I believe are the stock tubes but I never opened them. You will be able to use the amp right away regardless.

    -> Hagerman Tuba

    $550
    $475 shipped + PayPal fees

Note: the amp is actually black, the images make it look gray because of the high key lighting
Mint condition in every way, not a scratch. Comes with original power cable neatly coiled with a velcro strap and the manual. No tubes included. Packaged very well as you can see in the pictures.

    -> Elekit 8200

    $850 + shipping and paypal

Mint condition except for the front sticker that labels the inputs is peeling very slightly at one corner. if I was keeping this amp I would pull the sticker off and live with the glorious plain aluminum. But either way it's not a big deal.

I talked to the builder, @uniqusrname . he's not very active here, but he's one of the best amp builders I know anywhere. Really good at voicing them and making tuning adjustments that sound really good. At the recent Bay Area meet, his 2 DIY amps pretty much stole the entire show.

This is what he said about the 8200 he built:

I have modded the PSU and bias circuit further to improve SQ and have higher capacity in 1st stage filter
It will also work well as desktop speaker amp for bookshelves with 90+dB
The kit itself costs $1200+ with Lundhals so the quoted price is a steal."

This is not just a good deal considering the parts, but probably the best sounding 8200 you could ever find.

Comes with no tubes or power cable, just the amp. Pictures are in my Imgur gallery.

    -*- iem's -*-

    Gold Planar GL12 ortho iem

Brand new in sealed box. $100 shipped

    PMV PP ortho iem

Brand new in sealed box $100 shipped

For an extra $50 I can mod them with 1 hole drilled in to the back of the enclosure which makes them completely neutral with a very slightly tasteful bass emphasis that does not bleed into the midrange. I have a picture of mine modded like this that I can send if you want.

    Sold Items

    -> RAAL PTD-1a. SOLD

    $1200
    $1100

    $950 + shipping and paypal

I bought this used on USaudiomart a few months ago to try with my planar magnetic headphones and it’s a great match but I want to try other amps so I’m selling this to fund other purchases. It really sounds fantastic with Audeze’s in particular but surely with many different dynamics as well.

It’s in mint condition except for 2 dings which are shown in the pictures. When I got it I thought it ran hotter than I was expecting and I wrote RAAL and had it sent in and checked out and they said it was in great shape and operating optimally. And I honesty think the dings happened in their care because they were not mentioned in the ad when I bought them and I didn’t notice them until I got it back from them. So they came from loving hands at RAAL :)

And it has just been checked out by them so you know it’s working perfectly.

The amp does get very hot, and the heat transfers to the volume knob. So I found a silicone ring that fits the knob perfectly and very snug and that way your fingers don’t get hot when you change the volume. It’s a nice touch.

I can include a whole bunch of tubes with the amp that are barely used - all the extra tubes have less than 20 minutes on them. Probably $400 worth of tubes. The following:

    2 stock Russian 6AS7G
1 NOS GE black plates D getter 6AS7GA
    1 NOS GE 6AS7G
    3 NOS Sylvania 6AS7GA
    1 NOS Raytheon 6AS7G
    1 JAN CAHG 6AS7G

Matched pair stock Russian 6N6P from Vivatubes
    Matched pair FONON 6N6P
    Matched pair Red Tip 6N6P
    Matched pair Russian 6N6P

-> og Cavallli Liquid Gold Serial #0000 hand built by Alex Cavallii SOLD

the only one. (Yes, I currently own 2 og Liquid Gold amps)

$3,200 + shipping and PayPal Fees
$2,900 + shipping and PayPal Fees
This is the first og Liquid Gold ever made, serial number 0000. It was not a production run amp, and was not sold until Cavalli stopped his business. The whole amp was hand assembled by Alex Cavalli himself. It’s in mint condition with the exception of 1 tiny ding which is not visible unless scrutinizing the amp. It is circled in red in the close up pictures of the front. If you didn’t wipe down the amp you would mistake it for a dust particle, it’s that small. All other things that look like marks are just stuff that is lit up my the lighting I used it was actually very clean when photographed. And I kept this amp clean and dusted. It is otherwise flawless aesthetically and functionally.

I currently own 2 og Liquid Golds, I bought this one after the first one to see if it sounded any different, being hand built by Alex Cavalli. It does indeed sound better than the production version I have. It’s faster, more resolving, more dynamic, and generally just sounds better.

This is the very amp that Alex Cavalli built and then said it was the best amp he had ever designed.

This is a very rare amp to begin with, it’s almost impossible to find a production version. This is the only one built by hand by Alex himself.

Check the pictures to see serial #00000

I know Alex built the amp because I know a close friend of Cavalli’s who knows this was sold during his closing sale and was not sold during the production run because it was hand built and meant to be kept by Alex.

-> Pass First Watt Aleph J clone

(DIY using actual PASS schematic from DIYA) SOLD

$745 plus shipping and PayPal fees

For reference, shipping from here in CA to NJ is $92 fully insured with signature confirmation so anywhere else is going to be about the same or cheaper.

I bought this on USaudiomart a few months ago for $745 plus shipping and just trying to recoup my costs as it is too big to fit in my rack. it sounds wonderful though, if you're looking at this ad you know how good the Aleph J sounds. It's the best sounding solid state amp of any kind I've ever heard.

This amp has 2 dings that I can find but is otherwise in great shape. I think one screw on the top chassis has the been stripped on top (not the amp, the screw). It has been on loan to my friend so I can't check but that's what I remember and what he told me. It looks great though if you're not scrutinizing it.

This is a really great quality build. Some details:

A 4U/500 dissipate chassis ($389 from diy store), dual mono PSU (each side has fully separate PSU = transformer and dual rail)

The boards are official DiyAudio store Aleph J. The build uses a single pair of output devices per side. (not 2 pairs as per official schematic) this limits the overall power into speakers but is easily converted to schematic by adding the resistors and mosfets.

    Includes amp only.

    -> Beta 22 / Sigma 22 SOLD

    $1150 + shipping and paypal
    $1050 + shipping and paypal

    $950 + shipping and paypal
    [/spoiler]
I just bought this and it sounds really lovely in many ways, absolutely gorgeous tone, big stage, good dynamics, very resolving. It's a bit bass light for my preferences though the bass hits hard with tons of control. Just being honest since this is SBAF. But it's a solid build made by someone who has made a lot of these amps.

it's a pretty big amp. Separate power supply with a long umbilical chord though, which can be put pretty far away. I can measure it if needed.

    Info:

    The Amplifier (Beta 22):

    2 RCA inputs
    RCA loop out
Gain is 5 (if the previous owner remembers correctly, but his items right0
    DACT stepped attenuator
User switchable 120/240v for global usage
    3-channel active ground configuration
    Vishay/Dale resistors used throughout
    Rockhopper signature Orange LED

    The Power Supply (Sigma 22):

    120V-240V operation
    Vishay/Dale resistors used throughout
    High quality DC umbilical cord
    Rockhopper signature Orange LED

-> Eddie Current Studio B SOLD

    $2,900 plus shipping and PayPal

In emaculate condition, no scratches or blemishes anywhere. In original boxes, one box for the amp and one box for the power supply. Super quiet, can be used with ortho iems. I've got it all boxed up and ready to ship to you as you can see in my Imgur gallery linked above. Any questions feel free to ask.

Note that the lighting makes it look smudgy and dusty but this a trick of the light, it is clean and smudge, dust, scratch free.

I would like to trade it for one of the above amps rather than selling it, so I might give it a bit of time to see if there are offers, but if you would like to buy it send me a pm and I'll hold it for you if no trade deals work out.

Includes just the amp in the original boxes and packaging. No tubes or power cord. The same way and the same price I bought it from @elwappo99 here 2 months ago.

edit: I'm keeping the 300b tubes, and have lowered the price to the same price I paid from @elwappo99 a month or two ago for just the amp.

    Eddie Current Aficionado SOLD

    $1700 net to me

    Pictures on imgur:

    https://imgur.com/a/nSNy4yi

Mint condition in every way, comes with RCA black plate tubes, one of which picks up EMF/RMA if you have it, but is otherwise perfect sounding (if you do have EMF/RMA you can throw a copper mesh cloth over it - available for cheap on eBay and they perform perfectly) and a WE 2C51 input tube, no rectifier tube. Note: the EMF/RMA is just the one 2a3 tube not the amp. Came to me that way. I have other RCA black plates that are dead silent.

    No feedback version

This is the cheapest you will ever see an Aficionado and it's minty. Probably the cheapest Aficionado that has ever sold. I only ask that if you wind up re-selling it that you sell it here on on SBAF for the same price to keep it in the family.

-> og Cavalli Liquid Gold SOLD

Mint condition in every way. I just don't need it and would prefer to try a Liquid Crimson. I would prefer a trade for this rare beastie (see my list at the top) but I will sell it for

    $2,900 + shipping and PayPal

    Campfire Andromeda MW10 SOLD

    1,200 shipped + PayPal fees
    $1,100
    $1,000
    $900

Like new Andromeda MW10. No original box. But comes with a nice iem case, the net pouch, original Super Litz cable in 3.5mm (it has gotten a bit stiff) and a new Smokey Litz cable in 2.5mm balanced and some nice brand new tips. See pictures for everything. The iems are in like new condition.

Wells Audio Dragon level II SOLD

    $1700 plus shipping and paypal

This amp is in mint condition in every way. I bought it to check out, but am going to upgrade to the level III. This level II had tube guards added to it by the original owner (who I bought it from) which is usually only on the level III. No blemishes anywhere that I can find, and it’s sonically perfect.

I’m currently not mobile due to some health issues and the person who usually ships to me cannot for the next couple months, so it might take me 1-2 weeks to get it shipped. It could be faster, I just want to set expectations so you don’t get upset.

Comes with stock 12BH7 tubes and stock power cord.

    $1700 plus shipping and paypal

    RAAL HSA-1b SOLD

    $2,800 shipped plus paypal fees

Selling this gorgeous amp I just bought to compare to my Liquid Gold X hoping it would be an all in one solution for driving my Audeze’s and powering my LCD-R. But I prefer the Liquid Gold X for Audeze’s and the HSA-1b doesn’t work with the LCD-R.

So passing it along for what I paid from @Armaegis

It’s in mint condition, I can’t find a scratch or blemish of any kind anywhere. Anything you see in the picture is just the iight, or would rub off with your finger. And it sounds great. I just prefer the synergy of the LauX with my Audeze’s.

Comes in original box with no power cable but with the adapter to plug regular headphone into the RAAL port. See pictures.

    Campfire Audio Solaris SE SOLD

    $1200 shipped plus PayPal fees

These are in mint condition in every way and the second pair I’ve purchased. The box is mint. They come with all tips (used by previous owner) and all accessories (though like all Campfire Audio cables the cable has gotten a bit stiff). Very little use on these I was mostly holding onto them because they sound so awesome and are so beautiful and rare. I think they’re the best BA iems ever made. But I’m going all ortho iems.

Pictures added to the end of the gallery.

    You're a bad influence, I'm sorely tempted.

The snag is the timing and limited funds. I have the rare opportunity at the moment to try out some high-end headphones simultaneously, including the LCD-4, LCD-R, and now the SR1a. I can afford to keep only one or two of them - I purchased all of them secondhand - and if I keep the SR1a, I'd have to sell other gear, most likely my HD 800 SDR.

All this is to say, @rhythmdevils, that you should sell the HSA-1b if you get an offer. But, depending on how I get along with the SR1a, I might have to rethink my plans...

What? RD getting estats? What happened? (seeing only head units are listed, I'm assuming he's getting amp/energizer somewhere)

Absolutely badass and the most beautiful SS amp I’ve ever seen. Just an absolute beast.

But I find Cavalli did a really impressive job getting the same sound out of the Monoprice version for Audeze headphones. I doubt the X could compete with other headphones being used.

Thanks for thinking of me. Super rare to see this amp in the wild now, but I think I'm amped out at this point.
