    The literal "burn-in"!

I found it adequate for Ori and the Will of the Wisps, which has a fantastic OST. Are you referring to things like immersion (3D positional audio)?

The PC38X was pretty decent when I owned it. The Mic was a lot better than anything antlion has, which was surprising. This would be great with a Steam Deck.

Xbox Series X can use USB DACs IF the manufacturer buys the Microsoft license. That ends up being a handful of companies, like Astro. I don't even think Creative supports it anymore. The only other way I can think of is going around that issue and just using the optical out on the TV...but that will result in some quality loss.

Okay, so I ended up picking up a PC38X again since...It was $100 on Amazon open-box.

Yah, strangely, it's better than the HD560S and the GP600 (the other Sennheiser/Epos headphone.) The GP600 was always kind of bizarre because the fit was GODAWFUL if your head was any sort of large size. But it did bass really well.

It's driven pretty well out of a Xbox controller, but don't expect any miracles. Hel 2E does pretty damn well with it though. I have a Hisense U8G, and don't run into any issues going from HDMI->Optical out through the TV.

Massdrop has them on sale for $139 if interested. I'd like to try them. I gave my wife my PC37X and she loves them. I currently use the Tygr 300 and am pretty satisfied with them with an antlion (I don't really use a mic, I play solo mostly because of college) mic out of my LCX+SDAC. I switch to the hd58X for movies.

Is it that much of a step up from the PC37X?
