I hope this was the right move but I shipped these to @wadec22 with the Beyer pads too. That was several days ago (iirc I updated in the other pad loaner thread)

Does @wadec22 want these pads? He never signed up unless I missed something. But I guess he'll get them! :)

Would these be worth trying on an HP2? If not too late.

@rhythmdevils Hey I want to check in.

I am the fourth in the list. But as of today (June 10), I haven't heard anything about shipping to my place.

    My observation is
    1. Ev sent out to @wadec22 prior to Mar 31
    2. No more updates in this thread from @wadec22 nor @Tchoupitoulas
    3. Looking at the other thread (Beyer version one), wadec sent (at least Beyer pads) back to rd on Apr 18

Who are having these 6xx pads now? And when can I get the loaner pads?

Sorry I might still have them. I put them in my pile to ship but then got really really sick and haven’t been able to keep up with everything. I’ll check and buy a replacement if I lost them. Sorry guys.

I found them. What happened is the Grado adapters got lost during the beyer pad part of the tour and the two people in that tour paid for replacements so it got delayed then I don’t know what happened to the replacements I bought. These things are slippery! I just bought new adapters and will ship the whole thing to @Tchoupitoulas when I get them.

@rhythmdevils - I only just had a chance to open the package properly and noticed that you only sent me two pairs of pad adapters, not the pads themselves.

Sorry, I should have checked earlier.

Found the earpads they didn’t get shipped because of a silly mistake. They’ll go out soon. Sorry!

The pads and adapters are on their way to @dasman66.

I thought I'd share a couple of tips for removing the pads. First, with my HD 600, when I removed the pads, the plastic rings remained fastened to the headphone housing. You simply need to prise the plastic rings off the housing with a small flat screwdriver. They pop right off. Zach explains how to do this in his video here (fast-forward to the 5:25 mark):

Second, it's easier to reattach the rings to the pads if you insert them under the long "sides" of the leather flaps first. This makes it easier to pull the leather flaps over the more rounded end. I mention this only because I could imagine the leather flaps getting stretched over the course of the loaner tour, and this method of attaching them involves less yanking and stretching.
