    Dear Super Best Audio Friends,

I am embarrassed to say that this might be my first post... at least with this username... However, some might say I am a pro lurker.

That said, it would be out of character of me not to invite the super community of friends to a chill meet up I am hosting at my shop located within world famous Reseda. Yes, the same place from the blockbuster feature film "The Karate Kid" starring Ralph Machio

    Enough about that...
To keep it simple. I am hosting a community meet up this sat from 12-6pm.
Very casual "old school" meet vibes.

Here is a link for the SUPER PARTY PAGE.
If you are interested in coming by, I'd love to have you. The only conditions are...

    1. You must RSVP click here ----> +

    2. If you would like a table, please make sure to reserve one by this Thursday.

I am excited to share a couple of my favorite rigs and tunings for folks to try out and I would encourage anyone who is willing to share to sign up for a table so we can all geek out together looking for that good, good.

Hope to meet some of you in person.

    Cheers,

    -Alex Rosson

I'm going, and I'll bring that esoteric EC Ultralinear. We'll definitely have fun with it with planars and stuff around (IMHO the Ultralinear is the best amp I've ever heard for planars). I'll also bring JAR HD600 and ZMF Atrium.

Thank you so much @Rosson for making this happen!

    How many tables are available?
I might bring the Bakoon stack (HPA-21 and DAC-21), which doesn’t take up much space and is battery powered (for 5 hours). I could share with someone, maybe?

Careful, some overzealous Head Fier might screw that up for you. Guess I'll help you out.

Bringing the Auteur Classic. Hope to plug in to some nice gear. Thanks @Rosson !

Well, guess I'll have to bring along that Code-6!

Thanks @Rosson for inviting us! Most hospitable. We've needed one of these post Marv break-up meets.

Maybe for now. Just getting over being sick and will only go if it's clear that I won't risk the health of others.

    I can bring more drinks.

Otherwise, if there is strong demand from the community, maybe:
    a) Liquid Crimson + Yggdrasil - nothing new here, but I would like to hear this with the RAD-0
    OR
    b) a SW51 - I think most SBAF people in socal have heard it already but if most attendees aren't from SBAF, then I'll bring it. I don't have a portable / small DAC though - will probably have to borrow / share a DAC or bring the Yggdrasil.

Last year at our Mini Meet at the WeWork with ETA I brought my Bryston BHA-1 and Dangerous Convert 2 for my source. I can bring that again if folks want but thinking the SPL Phonitor XE and Matrix X-Sabre 3 is what I will bring this time around since they are bit easier to bring.

Thinking of bringing the Susvara as that it always popular. Have my ole trusty 4 screw HE-6 or HD 800S as well if people want to hear that.

Asking elsewhere, it's advised to bring your own power strips if you are bringing your own gear.

And as I usually see at these things, seeing people bring amps, there should be sources and DACS to go with them. Unless you're one of those people who'll bring an amp.. just to let people know you actually own one. Don't be that guy.

I'll probably end up leaving a bit early buuuut

Which boards are in your Yggdrasil? I was thinking about bringing mine (A2 boards), a Singxer SU6 and a laptop. You can ping off the RCA taps?

I'm thinking I'll bring some odd amps
    Elekit 8900 300b amp
    Headroom Blockhead

Not sure for cans but also thinking
    Audeze LCD-R
    Audeze LCD-4
    LFF Code 6

If there's interest I can also bring a Liquid Glass, Rag1, and/or Liquid Lightning with Stax headphones. Can also bring Sennheiser HD580/HD600/HD650, Hifiman HE-5, or Hifiman HE-500.

Would love to hear the Susvara!

Thanks! I'm definitely trying to avoid that 'c-word' but I'd like to bring equipment that people won't usually run into anymore. I think the best part of meets are seeing those weird things that people don't make YouTube videos of.

Mine is an A2. And yes, I can use a set of the extra RCA outs if I'm able to make it.

I would also like to try the Susvara again on different gear, etc.

There will be a ampsandsound Nautilus, their flagship amp, at the meet. I'll be curious to hear comparisons of these high priced amps if we can get people to shut up around them for a bit.

We were going to get some ZMF, but unfortunately it's a little short notice for this meet. Next time ()!

Yes, guess a couple of us will bring ZMF's. But at least be sure there isn't something that we could be duplicating.
