Title says it all. This will be a build in progress.

It absolutelly should have a completely perfect and uniform dispersion, very low thd, very, very low imd through the whole range. It will be built in a wall, left and right to the tv. I expect the left channel to be about 6db max reinforced through the whole range, should be an easy fix.
This means that every single possible reflection should be spectrally as close to the front wave as possible.

The left and right notch in the wall will be filled with drywall, spaker goes inside.

This kind of directivity is what I believe I can pull off with this.

    We'll see.

Every GRS sub will have a 100W rms ljm mx50se ab class amp. All other drivers will be driven by 30w rms D class amps, each driver it's own amp.

Subs will be naturally full vibration and even order distortion cancelling.

Why are there notches in the wall in the first place? support beams/ducting?

Nope. The middle protrusion is the chimney duct inside a brick wall. Stupid design, might as well make the most of it.

It's finally done. I'll just paste an imgur album link here, it's a hassle to embed everything manually.

Also, I haven't posted in like.. years!
For the good people that perhaps remember me and were kind to me here - I got a son. He's 7 months old now.

I'm quite certain that this is the best speaker that I've ever made. And I made lx521 and one other full range dipole, semicardioid speakers, controlled directivity box speakers, typical box 3way speakers...

I only never bothered with coaxials, I'm a bit interested in that LS50 KEF driver, seems to me it's a great potent little speaker. Might do something like that just for the fun of it, gift it to a friend or something.
I just can't envision a speaker that could be an improvement over this thing. Sounds pathetic and egoistical, I know. I'd gladly hear thoughts and suggestions (that aren't install 24 10m thick silver wires as that's what it'd take to upgrade wires for this speaker. :D

I'm not big on reporting my subjective thoughts, but I tested this with Angel - massive attack - and there is absolutely 0 audible problems in bass. Also it can happily reproduce 16Hz organ tones with no problems.
I still prefer dipoles for imaging, however - I believe that it's probably due to actual positioning in the room - these are a bit elevated so it's like you are in a fan pit all the time. Did it like that so that they are next to the tv. Otherwise I don't really have any negative things to say. Especially for the price of this thing.

The WAF factor is through the roof, as they basically are nowhere in the room - no wires, no clutter, not taking space at all. But the huge negative is that you'd need to drill holes in the wall if you wanted to do something like this while not renovating and maybe taking advantage of the situation like I did.

I've eq-ed the sub bass and did some more tests.

This is the horisontal directivity plot. I'll do vertical later but it won't be very different. There isn't any data for 90+ cause there isn't 90+, it's a wall.

This is the final EQed listening postition FR, all over the sofa - see following.

Decay, listening position, upper line is the worst offender, still 40 db below.

    Excess GD for speaker.

Excess GD subs. Small resonance at 55 hz.

    Subs. Small 55 hz resonance.

    Low mid box.

High mid box. Tweeters are perfect, but that's pointless.

Subs distortion, 80db. Can't do proper ground plane so no proper complex pulses testing I'm afraid.

    Listning position spectrum after EQ.

Listening positions (all around the sofa) before EQ.

    Some other room positions.

All spots on sofa, after EQ.

    With some other room spots.

Cross to the low mid woofer.
