I'm moving my amps near my speakers, but in order to do so, I'll need to have a really long interconnect run instead of long speaker cables. Ideally Ohno copper. Any cheap and cheerful suggestions? EMI, RFI considerations?

BJC LC-1 would run you around $140 for 25 feet, and $180 or so for 35 feet. Not sure what the maximum run is.

Thanks for the tips guys! I used to build my own cable, but I'm a lousy solderer... patience... I dd my own speaker cables from a recipe I found on Audiocircle. That was with some discontinued Beldon OCC I found in Canada. I had to strip it and then braid it. Took forever, but sounds great.

Another plug for worlds best cables. Lame name, really nice cables. I got a set of balanced interconnects and a really long aes/ebu. It’s currently my go to if I’m not in the mood to overpay for fancy materials and marketing gimmicks.

I love WBC, but they have a lot of variants and sometimes those you bought a year ago don't exist anymore on the amazon/marketplace. But if you look well enough you pretty much always find something excellent in their range. I love their 2964 RCAs, they also have 'em with Eminence Gold locking plugs. And I see there's also this Gotham one but I doubt "Gotham Star-Quad" is really useful for single ended purpose but who knows.

how long is long OP? I like WBC too, would probably suggest Canare L-4E6S, but I can't find anything ready-made from WBC longer than 6 ft. my other cable is Belden 8402 from a local maker in the EU, but those are more expensive than WBC.

@abernardi I found a long run of Ultralink Mach 1 in my cable drawer. I didn't measure but it seems to be about 18 feet.

I also have a pair of Gotham DGS-1 I terminated with Switchcraft RCAs but those are only 10ft. You are welcome to either for the cost of postage

I think that with this length building your own will be the best option in terms of cost and availability...

RCA interconnects are pretty easy to build. I suggest going to https://www.markertek.com/ and get some Rean plugs and mogami cable - I typically use 2552. You could have a set built in about half an hour for less than $50, assuming you have a soldering iron and solder already.

Wow, thanks for that K4rstar! That won't be long enough, though. I found a long run of Kimber Kable PBJ on Audiogon. I think I might give that a try. I used to use that cable and liked the sound. I also saw a long run of Audience Conductor cable. I've heard good things about it, but haven't heard it myself.

no problem, if anyone else wants those cables so I can clear my drawer let me know.

about Kimber PBJ, Joseph from JElabs likes them so they can't suck. if you want some bulk cable of your choice soldered up with connectors of your choice I can do that too, PM me.

Thanks k4rstar, good to know. I bought the Kimber PB(&)J cables, btw, I'll report back once I've reconfigured the system.
