    yeah but you pay 700$ with only 90 days of warranty... :Violin:. I don't want to pay that much without more warranty...

    I don't know if I should take the risk of ordering on aliexpress those WE reissue for 420$ or just buy some Gold Lion....

    Or buy the original WE, at least with those I'm pretty sure I can resell them for a fair amount if needed.

    I just compared the LInLa Global E 300b to WE 300B reissues, the WE is richer meatier, more slam with clarity with the bass, treble is clear with tone(cymbals) the LinLa is not bad just lean top to bottom and flater when compared head to head. Thats what these old ears hear

    The Linali Global E-300B's are different than the Linali WE clones, if that wasn't clear. @yotacowboy talks about the differences here in the Studio B thread:

    Oh Sh#7! Eddie Current Studio B

    @Ayaka I would not buy the WE clones from Aliexpress, no. The ones at the Linlai Global site should be fine, but are pricier than getting the "Cossor" branded Linlai WE clones from Victor Kung at VK Music in Canada, which are supposed to be the same internally. You can order them by emailing Victor at [email protected] -- more info on the Cossor branded clones can also be found via this DIY Audio thread:

    https://www.diyaudio.com/community/threads/cossor-we300b.360103/

    90 days warranty is standard for tubes everywhere other than the new issue WE's out of Georgia here in the US (5 years). Not transferable, though, and also assumes that the new WE factory doesn't go under/close within 5 years...

    FWIW, I just measured a brand new pair of WE300B on the eTracer (see: https://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/building-a-tube-tester.10362/) and here are the results, compared with the results provided with the tubes. I used the same Plate (300V) and Grid (-58V) voltages as listed on the test certificates with the tubes.

    Tube 1:
    Test Certificate vs eTracer vs reference
    Plate current: 78.4 :: 73.50 :: 60 mA
    Plate Resistance: 722 :: 740 :: 790 Ohm
    Gm: 5069 :: 5036 :: 5000 umohs
    Amplification (Mu): 3.66 :: 3.7 :: 3.9

    Tube 2:
    Test Certificate vs eTracer vs reference
    Plate current: 74.7 :: 69.29 :: 60 mA
    Plate Resistance: 705 :: 720 :: 790 Ohm
    Gm: 5226 :: 5156 :: 5000 umohs
    Amplification (Mu): 3.69 :: 3.7 :: 3.9

    Pretty impressed with the eTracer.
