I ripped Led Zeppelin's "Houses Of The Holy," only to notice that track 4 was labeled Inaccurate / Insecure. I used dB Poweramp, and it checks the AccurateRip database.

    Code:
    Track 4: Ripped LBA 80958 to 95755 (3:17) in 0:41. Filename: F:\Music\FLAC\Led Zeppelin\Houses Of The Holy [C2]\04 Led Zeppelin - The Crunge.flac
      AccurateRip: Inaccurate (confidence 82) Insecure [Pass 1 & 2, Re-Rip 1 Frames]
      CRC32: 776193DB AccurateRip CRC: 5CE7A2E0 (CRCv2) [DiscID: 008-000d04e5-005565c6-60099608-4]
So, off I went to find me another copy. It returned the same result - track 4 inaccurate/insecure. It might have had to re-rip 2 or 3 frames. Unfortunately, this was done several days after the first "bad rip," so I didn't make the connection about it being track 4.

I purchased another copy (by the way, these are all used). Ripped it, and had the same issue - track 4 again. This can't be a coincidence. Is it possible that the pressing I have is not in the AccurateRip database? Lol... if so, it means I've got a pressing that is good-to-go for all tracks, but for some reason, it has a "unique" track 4.

I haven't put much thought or logic behind this, but it struck me as odd. No way I could purchase 3 used discs and have all of them pop the same problem.

FWIW, this is the George Marino mastering of HotH, not the Barry Diament version (thank God), and it isn't the most recent remasterings that came in digipaks. My Diament and digipak copies all rip nicely (although I did have to track down another "flawless" copy of the Diament).

    Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeh...

In dbPoweramp's ripping options, make sure that you've selected "Secure" ripping rather than "Burst". That will at least re-rip the track until some number of rips (that you select in Secure Settings) are identical -- so the track might be Inaccurate, but it won't be Insecure.

    Will double-check settings.

Instead, why not download the Album from hd-tracks or qobuz. They have the remastered version in 24-96. Or at least the track in question...

I've ripped all of my CDs using DB PowerAmp with Accuraterip. I ran across this issue once. My dad had the same CD, too. I tried ripping both on different computers and came up with the same error. My solution was to put my ears on the track - it sounded fine, so I just called it good and moved on.

I've also had this issue once before with dBpoweramp and having the same error with completely different copies of the same album.

I did the same thing as @Vansen and it sounded fine, so I just called it good.

Because I'm a goof, and I want to complete the collection of George Marino mastered CDs to go along with the Barry Diament versions. I also have the most recent remasterings on CD and LP.
