FS: ZMF Verite Open Selectstock Barn-aged Burmese Padauk

I am selling @RestoredSparda 's ZMF Verite Open in Selectsock Barn-aged Padauk wood.

Comes with everything in the pics there. I've had the Verite for a couple weeks now and enjoyed my time with them, in my system, rather than show conditions. But that's just solidified my original belief that the Atrium is my preferred can, and I'll stick with them.

These are beautiful, clean and sound great. I am listing them here for $1450 net to me, shipped to CONUS (Canada, too, with extra shipping charge) to Friends, Contributors and Pyrates. If they don't sell in a week, I will post them on the other site, but prefer to keep it within the SBAF family.

How do they compare to the Atrium? Been looking at getting either the Atrium open or Verite Open.

 

Many better people have made better comparisons than I can here but to me the Atrium has a larger stage and harder slam. It feels very organic and analog, the tone and timbre is very natural. The Verite beats it in detail and speed. Both have the ZMF house sound, but the Verite amps up the detail. If I listened to classical, I think I’d prefer the Verite.

 

My plan is to list this up on HF later this week. I got these for a great price from RestoredSparda and I don't want to profiteer, but I also don't want to drag down the going rate for Zach's VO's by listing them for the same price up on HF. So my plan is to list them at market rate, and any funds I receive in excess of what I paid for them, I'll donate to SBAF.

 

Any interest in trading? I mostly have tubes available. and some headphones.

Not really interested in a trade, unless it was for some nuts 2a3's or an Auteur OG, but even then I don't need either...

 

Pffft, ask my mechanic whether he wants them. Because that's where all my money went.
