    Thank you for posting this.

Awesome that you are coming out again. I'll probably be there for the social action.. Some of the HF members that are going will be bringing out some pretty cool personal systems vs. vendors. Schiit kit gets sent out I believe. Hope there is a Syn in there, but that is highly unlikely. Still want / want to hear the newest Lyr. MJ3 maaaybeeee? That'd be awesome - I could bring out the LCD-R to test.

See you guys when it cools off.

    Arizona crew represent!

Thanks to Coolzo for putting this on and as always Schiit for being a class act vendor. Had a great time.

The Sonic Frontiers Processor 3 , Urd, and McChanson amp, LCD-R rig did it for me.

    Midgard was also surprisingly legit.

Yes, we do it right in AZ. Thank you Schiit for the kit aside from the personal gear. IMG_2575.jpg IMG_2576.jpg IMG_2577.jpg IMG_2578.jpg IMG_2579.jpg IMG_2580.jpg IMG_2581.jpg IMG_2583.jpg IMG_2584.jpg IMG_2585.jpg

@M3NTAL , you have an LCD-R, no? Is that your McChanson amp and, if so, what's the story with it and how does it pair/sound with the LCD-R?

    Looks like a great meet!

Those are not mine - and not my system, but it sounded very nice. The amp was running cooler than the Jotunheim-A. The setup belongs to a head-fier. He brought two McChanson amps. The Susvara actually sounded really good on that setup. URD->Processor 3->the two mcchanson's. One for Sus and one for LCD-R. My hero.

It's good to see DIY alive and off-brand (non HF sponsors) gear on the scene.

Head-Fi/CanJam is like GMO. It destroys diversity.

Damn that's a lot of awesome gear.
Any thoughts on the Riviera AIC-10 from SBAFers?

Well, the pic is of me listening (with my SBAF shirt!) The whole chain was very impressive. Very detailed with excellent bass extension. Very enjoyable to listen to.

One interesting note. He had the headphone connected to the speaker outs, not the headphone outs. He said he thought they sounded better that way.

Agreed. Less schtuff in the way. BTW, I'm 'funch' over there. That's my bright orange stuff in the pix.

Some of the SBAF members met up this past weekend for a little headphone mini meet. Impressions Thread here if you don't mind HF. I don't want to double post - most of the members there were HF members or lurkers here.

Susvara is starting to impress me. LCD-R is still a secret sleeper.

Holy Craap! That looks like a fantastic meet!! So many unique combos and rigs made up of stuff you don't see everyday, let alone in ONE meet like that (these days).

Lots of tube amps I have not heard of and a real mixture of sources. Dang. Hats off to everyone who hauled out their <crafted> systems to let other people hear them.

Thanks man - means a lot coming from you. We have a very DIY focused core group here. Most of us have been there since the Headwize->Head-Fi days.

Actually I heard that thing in Korea. I think it's a pretty good amp but no way for the price.
