I thought they were going to choose another person for one more signature upgrade. Regardless, I ordered a GO2A anyways. Anyone know where I can get 3.5mm to dual 3pin male XLR cable for cheap? I've been looking, but was wondering if someone had good experience buying from somewhere. Will be used to hook my Sony ZX2 and GO2A to my studio monitors ><.

Has anyone else had the problem where the audio suddenly plays slower and choppy after some time connected to their iphones? It's quite annoying and doesn't happen when connected to my laptop. I have to disconnect the GOV2+ for a second and reconnect it to make audio playback normal again.

I did a custom order through Surf Cables, I think it was just shy of $100.

I'm really happy with how much the Savannas have upscaled in terms of dynamics and presentation with the v2+, but man, the Savannas just seem to pick up hiss from anything, and the balanced out is no exception. It's really the only thing keeping me from being completely involved with the music. Has anyone got experience with iFi's iEMatch? They look like the only hiss-reduction solution that would still allow me to use the balanced output.

I have this same issue with my iPhone 6 constantly, and I can't figure out what's triggering it. I have no idea whether it's a connection issue or a software issue, but it does seem to happen more when using more demanding apps while music plays in the background.

There was a lot of hiss with Andromedas and even some with Vegas, so I've used the iEMatch between both and the GO V2+. Works beautifully.

I think heat might have something to do with it as well. I think it happens faster when it's in my pocket vs getting air-cooled in my hand.

Awesome, thanks man. Put an order in for one this morning so it'll get here by Wednesday. A quiet background will definately make this rig sound amazing (to my ears at least)

Are there any internal upgrades we can send in our 2A units in for?

So I'm kind of bummed I didn't realize I should try the andromeda with the 2A at the table next to CFA at the meet, and there seems to be conflicting reports in this thread. Is the 2A silent with the Andromedas?

With the GOV2+ balanced out (same internals as the 2A), I do hear hiss when there's no music playing. Not much of any hiss when music is playing.

Try it first if you're sensitive.

To be fair I can hear hiss out of the V2+ with the Vegas that are less sensitive, but with both IEMs it's only when there's no music playing.

After doing some credibility checks for Lunashops I found and ordered this
    http://www.lunashops.com/goods.php?id=5000

Trying to run a pair of Mackie MR5s out of the TRRS jack to see if it reduces the noise that my unbalanced connections picks up, any improvements to imaging and dynamics would be awesome.

Same here. I was originally kinda peeved when I tried my V2+ Infinity with the Andros and heard the hiss, but it was only discernible if I was in a quiet room with no music playing and the SQ otherwise was good. The background noise didn't change across gain settings which I found interesting, but no idea what that means from a design standpoint. I got some of the NY guys to listen to it to see if I was crazy, and after the sanity check I realized I could live with it.

That jives with my experience, the gain doesn't affect the hiss at all, and it's easy to live with for me. I still may get an iematch though because the Andromedas are so darn sensitive.

@LarryHo heard the Andromedas for the fist time at the meet. I believe he's getting a pair and will be testing future products with them.

As an aside, not only was I a huge fan of the GO2A signature at the meet, it apparently measured -103dB THD. it was within a stone's throw of what you could get out of the audio precision they use at LH Labs for measurements. I am getting one for sure.
