Both the "C128dp Linear Phase NYQUIST" and the NOS filter give me the holographic 3d thing I'm used to with the Schiit DACs.

Kinda digging the rolling filters on the soekris and rme dacs. There are others but these ones I know of.

@Cellist88 Buy the EZSync FTDI serial cable off Amazon, jumpers are at J8 on 1541 board and @randytsuch's link to instructions are on page 10 of the Soekris thread. If you need more help, ask me.

There's three pins on the Soekris board for ground, send (TDX) and receive (RDX). You need to connect these in null modem configuration so the TDX connector on the cable connects to the RDX on the board and the RDX connector on the cable connects to the TDX on the board.

I got quite far but the filterpack won't play. I think my Umanager version is 1.14 and all filter pack verions are 1.06. I download the filter pack, but nothing plays. I type F4 and it doesn't work

Anything for .99 and newer should work, which filter pack did you load? What's the name of the .skr file you used?

No, you need to use an .skr file. In my review of the Soekris dac I have the links to the two places you can download them.

You can generate an .skr file using the txt files with mkrom.exe, but it's easier just to download the .skr files that Paul or oneoclock have already made.

I downloaded from the second link from DIYaudio. That zip file, once extracted...yields a txt file
