So just get a Vali 2 and call it a day. At that price you can’t really regret anything, especially considering the performance. My fave is still the MCTH. Either of those could fill a gap if you have FOMO over some amp that may never exist.

Suggested product time frames often materialize up to 1+ years later. If you’ve got something that does the job now, that’s fine. If it’s holding you back then just buy something used. Because you could be banging your head against a wall for quite some time, losing out on what you could have learned in the interim, and risk making a rash purchasing decision when the time finally comes.

It may even save you money in the long run by better informing your future purchases.

Has Marv actually said new Schiit amp in March? I recall he said something good is coming in March and it won’t be expensive.

He never specified that it was Schiit. It's just an assumption. He said March and that it won't break the bank (but that means something different for each person).

This was said in several random threads where people asked for amp advice. Particularly something that could handle dynamics AND planars. It came up more recently in one of the LCD2C threads, I think.
