They're the CAST tinned coppers. I'm not sure if the non tinned coppers are available anymore. I think these replaced them. It's too early to really compare, the Jupiters took a long time to settle in so I'm assuming these will be similar.
The Dueland's are a bit more refined and balanced compared to the Jupiters. They have a blacker background, a tiny bit of bloom in the bass that makes them sound more natural to me. They're not warm though.
The Jupiters had a bit of a treble emphasis that made them sound grey and hazy. They did have tighter bass, but the Duelunds have a bit more impact. I'll write more in detail in the AF thread. Still have a couple of more tweaks left.
The Duelunds ought to be unbeatable, and I bet you can actually fit them in that chassis too. Strap 'em down and you'll be good to go. Jupiters ought to be no slouches, though. In what way are the Jupiters less balanced? EDIT: Ah, crossed posts. Gray and hazy - really? Surprising.
@bazelio my comments may have made the Jupiters sound worse than they are. They’re really good, especially at 1/3 the price. They just have this energy in the upper frequencies that bothered me and I felt like made things sound hazy. They are more spacious and “airy”
