Duelunds as bypss caps downstream to add some body and smooth things out. The cathode bypass caps are electrolytic so bypassing them with the duelunds improves things significantly

The amp has so much space inside and responds so well to modding. It’s an awesome amp. Will add some impressions to the AF thread. It’s worth changing caps if you’re not afraid of a little tinkering.

I think those are the caps Marv & Craig originally liked with the AF, but couldn't get a discount from the manufacturer, so they didn't use them.

Agreed. AF with Jupiters and Duelunds was f'ing amazing via EAR dac and vinyl today. Still, love muh ZD, similar house sound, but AF is the only amp id consider jumping to at this point.

Amp is sounding really good right now. The bass is a bit wobbly but I think it’s tightening up. I’ve never bypassed electrolytic caps so I don’t really know what to expect. There might be some weird stuff happening. Hopefully it works
