I have experienced all-you-can-eat on a corporate hospitality basis. That was in a good Japanese restaurant. It was all you can drink too. The office was very, very quiet the next day.
All-you-can-eat otherwise might be sort-of-supermarket-sushi quality. not so good.
It's a proper Japanese/Italian restaurant on the main seawalk here, it's not amazeballs by any standard and they don't have a wide selection of fish, but it's good enough for me and it don't cost 300 euros for an evening.
