@dmckean44 - I would have to setup a tablesaw in the living room. Because there is no way in hell these are moving once finished!

That is the natural progression. It ends with full horns.

Took me a min to figure out what was going on in his X-Over Diagram, then my jaw dropped!

No, but seriously, that is quite a unique & interesting design, w/ DSP/EQ USB controls for the Bass Driver:

So is it still technically considered Semi-Active, Quasi-Bi-Amping w/ built-in Hypex 1-way DSP Module for the Bass Driver & Passive 3-way X-Over for Mid/Horn/Tweeter?

Very cool and well researched design. The tweeter mounting with all the sharp edges around makes me nervous about off axis performance though. But given how high it's being crossed over into, only bats should worry about it.

@TomHP - It's a hornloaded tweeter so I don't know if diffraction effects are as bad. But you are right about the high xover.

@Cspirou "I would have to setup a tablesaw in the living room"

And when people ask why you have an overhead crane in there: "Oh, I needed it to put the speakers in position, and I thought I might as well keep it in case of tweaking."

Seems like a good enough reason to me! :)
