    Can't speak from experience, but if you haven't given the Lyr 3 thread a read-through yet, I'd recommend giving that look. It seems to be getting some pretty glowing reviews still, even now after the initial honey-moon phase.

    I've had my eye on Lyr 3. I've read some say it is a direct upgrade from Vali 2 (which I really enjoy).

    What's your budget? The Vali 2 is actually a really good pair with the Gungnir Multibit if you want to save a bit and go straight to end game amp. I found the Sonett 1 & 2, Sratus, EC ZDS & BW to have exceptional synergy with the Gungnir Multibit.

    I think I'd be willing to spend $1,500 tops on a headphone amp. I can't wait to hear what Vali 2 and Magni 3 sound like with Gungnir Multibit.
