I'm hopeful but skeptical. NK has played this game before, although this time has gone further than expected. If NK is being real about this I suspect that China was involved in getting NK in gear. A big gap is forming in world politics/power and China wants to fill it.
LIke it or not, Norh Korea's nuclear threat has forced the rest of the world to play ball with them. No longer are they a simple dictatorship pumping out fake Marlboros and counterfeit US currency, they hold power.
Regardless, it's great to see the two Koreas making history in the right direction.
What the f**k are you talking about? I don't call multi-national economic sanctions and threats to take military actions by the US to be "playing ball". Unless it is a game of "Butt's Up!" and NK is against the wall with the butt up in the air.
Agreed. Sometimes a metaphor that refers to something fun helps us to deal with the world. Especially since mushroom clouds are things we really prefer to prevent.
