Not just personal audio space, every hobby has its dark side (ask me about the Visconti Brunelleschi pen), but yeah, this hasn't been a great time for audio lately.

What pisses me off is that some people (HF and MD comment sections) doesn't care and even does meaningless comparisons without context, for example: "is like Apple vs Samsung"...f**k what's wrong with these people?

The difference being Apple actually purchased components (screens and chips, was it?) from Samsung, or had them design it. Either way, Sammy got paid. The Light Harmonic and Campfire Audio thing is waaaaaay different.

Other thing that concerns me is chinese audio designers...if someone honest that did it's own R&D, like sosolar or Holo audio's designer, want to make a deal with someone European or American...they'll probably be misjudged ("oh, another chinese copycat") because of the other shameless chinese thiefs like Larry Hoe or Airist's "design team"

Is a lose-lose situation, stupid scammers and thiefs should be in jail, not selling audio components and harming the hobby
