    You have any idea what sensitivity it's at? If you open up the miniDSP there's a couple jumpers in there that set the output level from 0.9V to 2V. You might want the lower level if it's not already set there.

    There are jumpers for input sensitivity, are there ones for output level? I tried switching the input ones from 2v to .9v, no difference, put them back to 2v.

    actually I got that backwards. 2v is the less sensitive setting since it's for input. I'm not sure about output though.

    I think there are just input ones. But regardless of their position, there is still the significant hum.

    Is the hum still there when the inputs are unplugged? If you have a shorting cap that would be useful too. Do you have idea what sort of gain is being applied in the software?

    No hum unless inputs are connected. Im at 0db gain in minidsp software. I could try lowering it, as that is the max. What is a shorting cap?
