Sooner or later it would have happened. Expect another four from Trump. Democrats will underestimate him again; a platform based on "no to Trump" won't win. Note that I am an equal opportunity hater of both parties.
People who value A) facts and reality and B) compassion and humanity have little choice but to vote democrat for the foreseeable future. Hold your nose if you must, but vote. Vote for democrats. In every election. Standing on the sidelines out of purity is no longer a feasible option. I wish we had that luxury. In a healthy and functioning democracy, we would. But we do not.
POTUS is serving the red neck, pro wrestling, carniverous, non vege eating sons of bitches , and proves that anyone that had a dream, no matter how far fetched it was, they can come true. Or horrible nightmare for others.
LOL. I voted for Trump as a protest to my family's healthcare going from $400 per month with HSA contribution (HSAs. What a concept! Saving for a rainy day) to $1200 a month with no HSA option. Trump had no chance in hell in CA. So not a big deal. I really didn't want him to win anyway.
"Wise" legislation intended to ensure that banks wouldn't be too big to fail wrecked the community banking niche, which I was a part of. The onerous regulations caused the small banks to quit. My family spent one year in purgatory because of this. It's not politics to me. It's personal. I don't trust government to be competent.
Three questions to ask about any political candidate: 1) Is X competent? = Can X do the job well? 2) Can X win? 3) Is X ethical? I seldom get to asking whether the person agrees with me.
