@spwath Nice! I'll be able to move some stuff around but it seems like at best I'll be able to get them maybe a foot from the back wall— might bork the sound a bit but that's as much as I can manage short of junking my bed (which is maybe older than I am, I'm a cheapskate)
I had to look that up, haha. Used to have one myself when I was sharing the room, but the top part (which was jerry-rigged to begin with) was scrapped so I'm left with a double XL. Tempted to just get a sturdy table and mount them near the foot of my bed with a monitor between so I have less reason to get out of bed on my off-days :))
@Poleepkwa I have! I admit a great deal of ignorance in those, though, and have only started reading up on them recently (i.e. a few hours ago). I'd like to ask for suggestions in a thread, but I want to have a hard budget first so as to not waste anyone's time, haha.
Incidentally, I also have very modest (i.e. crap) upstream gear, so I'm thinking a better amp is also in the cards before I really invest in good speakers. Sigh, I need a much better-paying job XD
