Only 1 month until I go back to college. Im ready to go back. I ran out of things to do here and my speakers are too big for my room.

Meet new people, learn new cultures, try new foods, get off campus and explore. It's a rare time in your life where you, and all the people around you, have minimal responsibility and can just do anything spur of the moment. At 2am, randomly plan a 4-hour trip to NYC, just because you can. Those kinds of experiences are priceless, and become near impossible after college.

I do need to take a trip to NYC with my friends. It's only like 1.5 hours from my college. Same with Boston, about 2 hours.

The actual research is probably solid. f'ing click bait passes itself off as knowledge. No context. On that note, sad to hear that Demi Lovato is in hospital d/t overdose. Music is ... eehhh, but she is a champion for the mentally ill.

Also with a proper amp. I kinda feel like I don't want to sell them, but I have no large room to play them in permanently....

When I was in college (many years ago) I built a pair of speakers based on the DQ-10 crossovers, used some of the same drivers, but a 12" woofer in a 3.5 cu. ft. cabinet for better bass. Still have them, but need to replace the foam surrounds on the woofers...

Not at random -- supposedly calculated the distance to account for latency so that the sound would be time/phase aligned when it reaches your ears... this helps with the "imaging" so they have a wide stage with better "placement" of instruments

@Brad Tombaugh Oh...l gotcha. My KEF's are time aligned with the tweeter in the middle. I mean, that accounts for why they are recessed so they are in line with the woofer.

@spwath Nah, I was just making a joke about the show, how the main character seems super excited and bewildered when someone suggests they could make a book out of this. And how he later writes down BOOK in his notes or something. Just found it funny.

It also has a built in amplifier. Im not sure, are there bells inside? Does it play them? How? Does it play the tape? Does it play the bells from the tape? I saw it at goodwill, but $50, so I didn't buy. https://imgur.com/kgEhSsX
