I haven't fired them up yet so I don't know if they're functionally damaged, but I'm pursuing refund/replacement because it was a totally substandard packing job.
Sounds like my vintage TOL Yamaha preamp purchase shipped in a kitchen sink box with some crumbled up newspaper. Audiogon of course, and with bent knobs and the like. No recourse and I got screwed.
Damn, maybe next time send them to one of our EU friends first so we can make sure it gets across the pond safely. That is if you ever order from them again.
Been buying from them for over a decade and never had a problem with aftersales. I'm sure they'll take care of you. I agree though that their packaging could be better.
@bixby Had a similar experience. Dude shipped me a 30+ pound commercial coffee grinder in a box that was too big with only crumpled up newspaper around it. When I received it the top was sticking out of the torn box.
