What cans are these, out of curiosity?
Utopia, LCD4, LCD2 Closed ... Seems beta testing in public and thinly disguised rush-fixes are the norm these days.
Did the manufacturer fail or someone else? This sounds bad...
@Scubadude Ahh, I see what you mean. Yeah it sucks, wish it were elsewise, but lots of manufacturers seem to care more about meeting release dates than they do about actually crafting something nice. Same with video games.
These days? It has been the standard MO for Audeze and Mr Speakers for years, just for starters.
Get it right the 1st time? Dude! That means being competent, you're asking too much ;)
@Kattefjaes I thought Mr.Speakers had a good track record? Audeze is famous for it, and I've heard HiFiMan having some problems...you live you learn.
Mr. Speakers has a track record involving a lot of fixes and "upgrades", too. https://www.superbestaudiofriends.org/index.php?threads/old-pre-correction-mrspeakers-%C3%86on-impressions-review-and-measurements.4429/page-3#post-147380 says it nicely. Despite the cult of Dan, he can be tricksy too.
I think there is a difference between silently revising a product vs. releasing a product that was just built wrong or has a high rate of malfunction.
Damn that actually answers a question I put on HF (and was ignored) why the 2 measurements in his review of the AFO were different. Thanks! (and apologies to @Scubadude for hijacking his profile post)
