    How far ahead do you need to book accommodation in Yosemite? I end up in CA ever summer, but have never made it to the park. Kids are finally old enough that it's becoming an attractive idea.

    Yosemite in the Winter has its own charms. No crowds, lodging is cheap and the scenery remains spectacular. The fireplace at the Ahwhanee is a great place to relax
