Man that bites. I was picking up an old amp that I was selling for $400 the other day and almost knocked one of my ~$4K bookshelf speakers off the stand! I almost dropped the amp on my foot trying to catch it!
@rlow , your almost amp vs foot made me wince: the sharp corner of a NAD 3020 once landed right on my bare big toe. Casualty for the hot-needle trick, where an intern poked rather too enthusiastically; and the toenail was finally left behind in Zion NP. But AFAIK, the amp still works.
