    (Oh yeah, and it generated the AC sine wave using the 24-bit AK4490 DAC and a 32-bit Microchip processor. And it had Class A output. And frequency adjustable to 0.0001Hz. Because Dave. Because crazy. Because it could also be used for the turntable. And in that application, well, we'll see.)

    Turntable supply is the only application I would seriously use a DAC + Amp for a power supply.

    @bengo - I've seen a tubed turntable power supply. And I don't mean a rectifier tube.
