    @jexby even used the Vidar with the AF as a preamp. The saga > vidar is a powerful combo with the code-x.

    +1 on the Saga/Vidar combo. Great synergy with my Code variant; impressive bass, slightly warm and deep, deep layers. Neutral headstage, neither forward or too laid-back. I've thought on moving to a Firstwatt amp, but keep struggling with the 3X cost factor. Probably better putting the money into a better source.
