Take one away from the six, is five. Take five away from nine, is four.

Five four. 6 times 9 is 54.

And, being lousy at actually memorising stuff like multiplication tables, that's how I've always done "nine times..."

I don't think my set of the books survived the 2015 Chennai flood. It might have been a case of "byebye and thanks for all the fish." If they did, I'll refresh my memory of the details. But there is always my towel. One thing Ford Prefect did not have, back then, was microfibre. Pink microfibre. :D
