The 834 propositions on the ballot is well intentioned, but contrary to the representative system of government. I don't have time nor the data to study the issues and make informed decisions. The idea behind our government is for us to select a person of honor, a person that we trust, to make those important decisions on our behalf.

Jason is going to have a f'ing heart attack when he ends up being a senator.

I spent a few hours reading up the California ballot. Talking it through with my brother and parents. Got through a good 2/3rd of it before I couldn't decide anymore.

That would be amazing.

Actually more amazing:

- Jason for President
- Mike Moffat for VP (natch)
- White House to be renamed the Schiit House (or the Out House).

You guys do a really good job keeping politics off these forums. Part of what I like about them, since they often turn into a shit show elsewhere. That said, I think Jason would make a good president!
