I would suggest being properly paranoid and changing all passwords on any important accounts. Anything financial related, or anything that contains a lot of your information (email, social media if you use it).
And let your contacts know that your account has been hacked, in case friends/family start receiving requests for assistance from scammers.
some love it, but i really dislike the centralized, all-powerful nature of apple id. most folks use weak passwords to begin with, especially for convenience on mobile. that said, hope you know exactly how you got hacked and taking precautions to address that root issue?
As others have said, change all your relevant passwords. Create unique 12+ character passwords that have random letters, numbers, and special characters and use a password manager to retrieve them when needed
TURN ON 2 FACTOR AUTHENTICATION for your Apple ID and anything else that supports it
Yes, turn on 2FA. I use Macs, but Androids. Use separate email addresses/account names for different accounts.
Most importantly: use a password manager! Distinct passwords for every site.
Without 2FA, the only protection you have is password length. 20+ characters if the site'll let you. If they don't, be wary because they're likely not properly storing your password.
