Context, and pardon the crap photos. Candy caught midair in last pic: https://imgur.com/a/TkzL1aA
You don't get between a little old lady and free candy man, lol.
Should have known better, yes. I'm just glad I came out of it with my limbs intact and nothing filched from my pockets, haha.
Reminds me of why I no longer do Mardi-Gras
@Ray this was small-scale, probably around 3,000 people actively participating, though the streets were hella cramped. I'm pretty sure I'd die if I got into the thick of things at something like Mardi-Gras, haha.
I was on bourbon street one year. The street was so packed at one point my feet weren’t on the ground. That was my last year on bourbon
I used to live in Panama City Beach Florida in the late 90's. One year some of our friends talked me and my ex-wife into road tripping up to NOLA for Mardi Gras. It was awesome to see once but not a thing I'd want to go back and do ever again. Too many people all up on and around you, sometimes you can't even move.
@OldDude04 I know what you mean. It's not so much that there was an insane amount of people, just that the streets where I live are ridiculously tight I could barely raise my arm to take photos at times, haha.
Also sorry for the late reply, just saw this!
