I'm familiar with the Andros and own the X00EB. I'd say the OG Andros will be a better investment, especially if you need isolation. On the whole they have better mids and resolution at the expense of less stage, while FR balance changes depending on OI; I liked the Andros quite a bit out of the AK Jr. (I think), but I had to push them in place because my ears are weird, so that disqualified it from my consideration.
If you found your SE215 comfortable, I think you'd be ok with the fit of the Andros. This is based on being surprised that KZ ZS5 (Andro ripoff in size & shape) fit me ok. I should say though I didn't wear them for long - but that wasn't because of the ergonomics...
I use Andromeda regularly in office and during commute. It isolates well, can be removed easily with the right tips (at least for me), quite comfortable for 3-4 hours of use (again, with the right tips), and sounds pretty damn awesome. From what I've read here, TH-00 series don't isolate well and let out quite a bit of sound - might be a dealbreaker for some.
In a word, yes. I have TH-X00EB + Cavalli LC, and Andro + Fiio X5G3, and I reach for Andro way more often than TH-X00EB. (Edit: at work, with semi-regular interruptions)
