The problem was that it wouldn’t launch at all, so I kept trying different combinations of sudo and unsudo’d installations, but it turned out, if I launched it with the shortcut on the desktop, it worked! And then after that would launch from the terminal fine???
@SoupRKnowva It seems some config was written after launch. There are tools for searching for application config files in the terminal. Need to figure out their location and see what is wrong when things dont work.
The cool part later is when you start using automated scripts and what these can do.
