    I had a pair of those back around 1991 or so. They sounded great, but the foam wore out pretty quickly.

    Yeh the foams are gonna compress really quickly and you'll end up with your ear lobes rubbing against the driver cover which is not all that pleasant. I've been considering those huge yellow foams but haven't seen anyone here try them out yet.
