Eventually the new cat will settle in and they'll end up buddies. BTW the correct amount of cats to own is two. In my house we have three. Three is the incorrect amount of cats although the humor factor can increase exponentially. So can the piles of cat yak.

Thanks! Yeah hope she'll settle in sooner or later. Just worried about her stressing out, new environment and all, potential for cat yak due to nervousness high. So that makes two cats, four dogs, and a shitton of birds. House is seldom quiet

I brought a second female cat into the house, they still hiss at each other 4 years later.

BTW, the other incorrect number of cats is 5. At 5 you are massively outnumbered and just have to give in to their rule over you.
