I do like that you can have MS Word read it back to you. I hear grammar mistakes 100 times better, then reading them...
I'm always having to temper myself from correcting others' grammar. Nice to "meet" another grammar geek. They're few and far between. P.S. all peeps: "it's" always means "it is"! Never possessive.
I find that printing and reading on real paper is way more effective for finding errors than reading on-screen. Not sure why this is.
Terrible when you learn a new language. You must instruct your brain to simply accept that some new words are weird...
Possibly because I was a professional editor for a decade, I ask my wife to proofread my most important emails. There's always one phrase that can be clearer—and I catch it reading over her shoulder.
