@rott I think that's a hold out from the old description when it was just Eikon suede pads or something like that. The perforated suede Auteur pads are excellent on the Auteur.

@rott I didn’t use the web store, these were handed to me by Zach. They look just like the stock Auteur pads.

I'll tell you what, I had the Auteur for a while and I do like your descriptor of it. Didn't much like HD650 preffered HD 600 instead, but I think your onto something, some of the best low frequency presentation I've heard was an Auteur on an original Moth 2A3

@rott yeah, I was not going to be getting any new stuff either this year, but here we are. I've been using the suede pads on the Auteur exclusively since Friday, and haven't had any interest in rotating to another headphone in the collection, which is strange for me.
