I expected this but the fit is making my ears cry nearly as much as the PFR-V1 did (AAAARGH), but they're free and not horrible-sounding so I'm not complaining; this always happens with non-tiny IEMs but the pain eventually subsides and my ears get used to it. I don't do very much critical listening outside of home but figure I might as well get the most out of the sound.

Force LDAC on what? The receiver/headphones has to support it.

If it makes you feel any better, I keep having to drop from AptX HD to AptX because... dropouts and such. Bluetooth has quite a way to go.

@Bill-P I have so much trouble with apt-x HD. I basically consider it unusable on 50% of receivers. It’s such a Qualcomm mess.

Haha, the way I see it BT is for convenience, sound quality taking a rear seat to being able to walk around without carrying a phone even. I'm dicking around between scalable and SBC and am sticking with "Scalable" just because it's the least messy with my phone.
