Deep thoughts - Friend, Male, from Amsterdam

Busy, long-term goals in sight and improving my cooking skills. A good risotto is worth all the preparation. Tomorrow ratatouille. Mar 26, 2024 at 5:53 PM

Good luck mate! Me too, started last week (access to university, 25+ years old) for electronic engineering, asked for working hours reduction (30 hrs instead of 39 per week) to be able to keep up. A refreshing and fullfilling experience

A Seiko 7002 can be had for 80-ish Dollars. The SKX costs at least 200 in retail. Seriously, with that 7S26 that is overcharging...

I love my 7002, it's just different enough from the SKX to be more awesome!! Crown at 4 o'clock which gives it a slightly slimmer profile, date only vs day/date and square vs oval indices.

Need to post my Turtle re-issue in the watch thread. Have had it for a little over a year.. it's my first mech. LOVE IT. The pad and raised bezel means business. Dig the (authentic) tool-y look and functionality.. looks classy too.

Bummer! I don't own one, but they are pretty rad. With Seiko also discontinuing many of their entry-level watches with the 6R15 movement, they don't seem to represent the same bang-for-your-buck that they used to.

        It doesn't fit at all.

Here hard cheese is a more common spice on pasta than salt is, this and a couple of other spicy ones are the exceptions.

Pecorino is acceptable on arrabbiata, so long as you get the one that is itself effectively strong enough to taste spicy.

And hey, just because someone is a Trump supporter or a Brexit supporter doesn't mean they have nothing that I can't talk to them about. Heck, I even make friends with rich people in the audio community!

Loved Gundam Unicorn! Good return to classic form for the series, and the animation was top notch. Good palate cleanser after Iron Blooded Orphans (which was still good but... eh?).

I love the Cure. Not much of a fan of their radio hits. Songs like The Short Term Effect, From the Edge of the Deep Green Sea and The Kiss are where they really shine- layers of swirling guitars and synths. When Robert Smith starts busting out funk licks I tune out though.
