Call today, three 65" Sony TVs to a fake address, thick accent but had a generic white name, wants to pay with CC and have his courier pick it up. More scams.

How can they get away with it if they use their actual credit cards?

Couldn't you trace them to their name & address with that?

Or were they using stolen credit cards?

The first guy, we told him we would need to see his CC and ID when we dropped off the tv and then he whipped out excuses and dodged calls. Guess is that it was a stolen CC.

The call today, most likely a stolen CC but could be his CC and claim he never received the items.

One of my bosses fell for a big Tv scam one year and got a bunch of tvs dropshipped and it was sent to a fake address. The guy claimed he never received it and made off with $50k+ of Tvs.

I’ve got to go to my credit union for the 4th time to get a new debit card in 5 years. Some a-hole charged a airline ticket to Budapest on my card. It was a fake of my card. My card is in my wallet, and is a chip version. Got a letter from Experian last week letting us know our credit info was part of the data breach. Free credit monitoring for 10 years. B.F.D. They don’t give a shit.
