That's how I feel. Everytime I find something I think might be an upgrade and exclusively listen to it for a week or two, I then put the HD650 back on and realize I missed them...
you are correct to fit your cans to your ears / lifestyle! my wallet truly wishes my ears were satisfied with the reduced expense of Sennh blanket of sound.
@jexby I still want to participate and continue on this search with the great friends here, but will do so with a new perspective! When I started thinking about the Verite as a compliment/companion for the HD650, I began seeing its appeal more and enjoy them for what it is: a different headphone and different experience.
@jexby worded it perfectly; unfortunately I was utterly ruined when I auditioned the Verite and Auteur for the first time. Now I own an Auteur and have a Verite coming soon....oh I have a Hifiman? Since when?
@ChaChaRealSmooth the Verite is a real charmer... basically got me back into this hobby after settling with the Clear. Also, I didn’t know SBAF was a big fan of the Auteur until recently. I should really give them another try :)
